Who Am I?
What an open ended question. There’s so many ways I could answer that, but since the answer should be in the context of this website, I guess I would have to say that I’m a web developer. I didn’t really take a big interest in the web until about 2 years ago, but since that time, I’ve been learning as much as time would allow.
My primary interest at the moment lies in the area of Ruby on Rails web application development, with web standards based design coming in at a very close second. I’ve always been interested in both the technical and artistic aspects of the web, and the current state of the web allows me to keep up with both.
Where Am I?
Without giving away my physical location, there are few places places you can find me online. First and foremost, right here at JamieMurai.com. I also have a handful of profiles at places like Pownce, Twitter, and Flickr. Although I rarely put updates on any of the sites, so don’t expect to find much.
What’s This Site Running On?
JamieMurai.com is currently running on a non-managed VPS from Slicehost. All content is published using the famous Wordpress, a PHP based blogging application. The design is a customized version of textback.
